Bill Cole's new book, Puritans, Plagues, and Promises, has finished typesetting. He is pleased to report it will not be too much longer. It has been quite a journey; eight years from the beginning of his English Origins Research
Project. Now, a professional indexer will do what a pro does best. Once completed, the final page count will determine the pricing details. As soon as that is known, we move to receiving payments from those who have already reserved copies. Then, books will be ordered for their final journey into your hands!
The New England book launch tour plans are firm. It begins at the New England Regional Genealogical Consortium Conference in Springfield, Massachusetts. NERGC 2023 runs from Wednesday, May 3rd through Saturday the 6th. The Passionate Genealogist is an exhibitor located at Booth #28. Bill is a
Special Interest Group moderator and presenter at the conference. https://nergc.org/ His two topics are: "Storytelling Tips and Techniques to Craft Your Stories" and "Start Right to Discover Genealogical Gems in England's Underutilized Treasure
Troves."
In Plymouth on Tuesday evening May 9th, Cole will present a special program at Pilgrim Hall Museum. It's title is: "A Grave Mistake? The English Origins of Oldcomer Thomas
Clarke." Two nights later on Thursday, May 11th, he will be hosted by the Eastham Historical Society for a presentation and book signing event. Cole's tour finishes with the Falmouth Genealogical Society on Saturday, May 13th. He will present Part II of Researching England's Records that goes beyond his NERGC presentation. If you are able to be in Massachusetts, the Passionate Genealogist would love to meet you at his presentations in
Springfield or on Cape Cod.
If you have not yet reserved copies of the Limited Edition, numbered, and autographed book, you need to do so very soon.
