The Passionate Genealogist's three-session "How to" Hybrid Seminar, Researching England's Records: All Ancestors Great and Small, was a great success according to the organizers. Based on his English Origins Research Project, those
attending learned how to find and access underutilized treasure troves of English records and sources. Cole shared his methods and sources used to achieve more than twenty historic genealogical breakthroughs.
Many thanks to all participating in person plus the additional 100 participants on Zoom. Three Northern California sponsoring societies, the Santa Clara County Historic Genealogical Society, the Silicon Valley Computer Genealogy Group, and the San Mateo Genealogical Society, did a great job making their first in-person gathering since COVID-19 an event to remember.
The proof copies of Cole's new book, Puritans, Plagues, and Promises, will be reviewed by the Passionate Genealogist very soon. The 346-page book with historic genealogical findings, a great story line, and great early reviews will be released in May. He will begin taking payments in mid-April. Hardcover limited edition
